Wildling Fundo black

BESCHREIBUNG

Overview

The Wildling Fundo black in adult sizing is a flexible Low Cut for days that start briskly and end on a detour. The hard-wearing organic cotton upper softens around the foot with wear rather than fighting it. Like every Wildling it keeps the three principles of barefoot footwear: a wide toe box that lets toes splay, a zero-drop sole, and a construction flexible enough to move with the foot rather than against it.

How Does It Compare?

The closest cross-brand comparisons are the Vivobarefoot Geo Court and the Xero Shoes Dillon. Fundo is more flexible than either and uses organic cotton rather than leather or synthetic. Browse the full Wildling barefoot shoe range or the wider minimalist zero-drop shoes selection to compare side by side.

Sizing and Fit

Fits true to size with Wildling's wide toe box. Low to medium volume. No meaningful break-in period for most wearers. Available EU 36–48. EU price: €99.

Pros and Cons

What we like: very flexible for a closed everyday shoe; organic cotton softens with wear; black hides scuffs and suits the office. Worth considering: not waterproof; minimal structure means little support if you want any; cotton needs re-treating for wet conditions.

FAQ

Q: Is the Fundo black suitable for someone new to barefoot shoes?
A: Yes, with a gradual approach. Start with shorter sessions and build up over two to four weeks. The wide toe box is usually comfortable immediately; the thinner sole takes longer to adjust to.

Q: Can I wear this for long days on hard floors?
A: Yes, once adapted. If you are new to zero-drop, build up gradually and consider a hemp insole for a little more give underfoot.
