Wildling Robulo khaki

BESCHREIBUNG

Overview

The Wildling Robulo khaki in adult sizing is a low shoe for full days and a mixed forecast. The densely woven recycled cotton upper forms a natural shield against wind and weather without a synthetic shell. Like every Wildling it keeps the three principles of barefoot footwear: a wide toe box that lets toes splay, a zero-drop sole, and a construction flexible enough to move with the foot rather than against it.

How Does It Compare?

Compared with the Vivobarefoot Geo Court and the Xero Shoes Dillon, Robulo is the recycled-cotton option — better wind resistance than a mesh shoe, less formal than leather. Browse the full Wildling barefoot shoe range or the wider minimalist zero-drop shoes selection to compare side by side.

Sizing and Fit

Fits true to size with Wildling's wide toe box. Low to medium volume. No meaningful break-in period for most wearers. Available EU 36–48. EU price: €119.

Pros and Cons

What we like: recycled cotton shields against wind well; runs from toddler to adult sizing; easy everyday shoe. Worth considering: water-resistant rather than waterproof; khaki marks easily; no membrane.

FAQ

Q: Is the Robulo khaki suitable for someone new to barefoot shoes?
A: Yes, with a gradual approach. Start with shorter sessions and build up over two to four weeks. The wide toe box is usually comfortable immediately; the thinner sole takes longer to adjust to.

Q: Is recycled cotton as durable as new cotton?
A: In this dense weave, yes for everyday use. Wildling uses it specifically because the tight construction compensates for the shorter recycled fibres.
