Description

The Mim Felt Slipper II is the updated version of Vivobarefoot's popular indoor barefoot slipper. Like the original, it uses recycled wool felt on a thin, flexible sole with zero heel drop — keeping your feet active even when you're relaxing at home. The II adds a slightly refined shape and improved stitching over the original Mim.

The difference between the Mim and Mim II is subtle — the II has a cleaner silhouette and reportedly better durability at the seams. Functionally, the barefoot experience is identical. If you loved the original, the II is a natural upgrade when it's time to replace.

How does it compare? Same comparisons as the original Mim apply — the Wildling indoor range is cheaper, the Be Lenka Chillax offers more structure, and Saguaro makes budget alternatives. Between the Mim I and Mim II specifically, the II is the better buy for improved stitching and slightly cleaner lines. If you don't need wool warmth, the Vivobarefoot Sensus range offers lighter indoor-outdoor options.

Sizing & fit: True to Vivobarefoot sizing, same as the original Mim. If you owned the Mim I, order the same size. The felt stretches marginally — don't size up. Wide toe box accommodates natural toe spread.

What we like: Improved durability over the original, recycled materials, genuine barefoot sole for indoor use. Worth considering: Still feels cold on stone or tile. Price is higher than most house slippers — you're paying for the barefoot sole engineering.

FAQ:

Q: What's the difference between the Mim and the Mim II? A: The Mim II has improved stitching and a slightly refined shape. The barefoot sole, recycled wool felt, and overall fit are essentially the same.

Q: Can I wear the Mim II outdoors? A: Only briefly — the sole is designed for indoor surfaces. For outdoor barefoot slippers, look at the Vivobarefoot Sensus Yin Slide or Ra IV instead.

Q: Is the Mim II worth the upgrade from the original? A: If your original Mim is wearing out, yes — the II addresses the most common durability complaint. If your Mim I is still going strong, there's no rush to switch.

Materials: Made from 100% wool upper and 100% leather outsole, ensuring both comfort and durability.

Care Instructions: Easy to maintain; simply brush off mud and clean with a damp cloth.

End of Life Commitment: Send us your old Vivos for a second life or storage until we launch our recycling solution.
